- 1 large onion, diced
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, diced
1/4 cup oil
4 1/2 cups water
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup wheat free soy sauce or Bragg's Aminos
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. thyme
5 cups rolled quinoa flakes
Mix all ingredients together well. Then fry or bake, turning to brown on both sides. Great served in sandwiches or in a casserole with gravy.
