Refrigerator Dill Pickles

Refrigerator Dill Pickles

Combine in a 1-quart large-mouth jar
2 or 3 sprigs fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried dillweed
1/2 medium onion, sliced
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 1/2 cups water
4 teaspoons salt

Fill jar with sliced cucumbers, pressed down.
Top with the remaining half onion,sliced.
Cover and refrigerate. These pickles will be ready to eat in 24 hours.
