Simple, yet delicious, these cookies are a family favorite. Sis and I enjoyed making
these as young girls growing up. We used mom's hand-turned 'meat grinder' to grind
up the fruit (it was only used for dried fruits and nuts). Sweet memories and a healthy
dessert.
1/2 cup dried figs
1/2 cup dates
1/4 cup dried apricots
1/4 cup pitted dry dates
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup seeded raisins
1 tsp lemon juice
1. Put fruits and nuts through grinder.
2. Add lemon juice and mix well.
3. Form into small balls and roll in fine coconut.
4. Store in refrigerator.
