Russian Millet Soup
1 cup millet3 quarts water2 stalks celery2 potatoes, coarsely chopped2 carrots, chopped
1 large onion, chopped1/2 teaspoon salt1 - 2 Tablespoons chicken-style seasoningsmall amount of tomato juice for color (optional)Combine millet with water, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and cook until tender.
